Cornwall’s gardens are renowned the world over and our tour includes visits to some of the finest in the county. Spring comes early here, as trees, shrubs and bulbs bring life and colour back to the gardens.
Day 1 FRIDAY We travel to Falmouth with comfort stops as required, arriving late afternoon with time to relax before dinner
Day 2 SATURDAY A day at leisure in Falmouth. After breakfast we transfer you to the town quay for free time to explore the town.
Day 3 SUNDAY Following breakfast we depart for a visit to Trebah, a wild and colourful Cornish garden with something for everyone. The garden was laid out originally in the 1840s and flourished to become one of England’s great gardens by the 1930s.
Day 4 MONDAY We head to the Cornish Capital – Truro. Boasting an enviable range of independent shops in a compact city centre where there will be the opportunity to visit Truro Cathedral. Later, we head to Trelissick Garden. Situated on its own peninsular, commanding magnificent views over the Fal estuary, Trelissick has one of the best natural settings of any estate in the country. There are 30 acres of garden to explore, with twisting paths leading you through important collections of Hydrangeas, Rhododendrons and Ginger lilies, together with woodland plants and herbaceous borders that provide year-round colour and interest.
Day 5 TUESDAY After breakfast we depart our hotel, returning home in the afternoon.
