Join us for an exciting Mock Cruise at the wonderful Trouville Hotel in Sandown. You will be issued your ‘boarding cards’ on arrival and throughout your stay you will ‘visit’ different countries with specially themed dinners and entertainment!
Day 1 MONDAY A morning departure for our sailing to the Isle of Wight, arriving at the Trouville Hotel for our 4-night stay. Receive you boarding cards & check into your ‘cabin’. Soak in the sights and sounds of the ocean as we set sail for our first destination - France. Cabaret entertainment in the ballroom including a performance of the 'Cancan'
Day 2 TUESDAY ‘Welcome to New York, USA’! Breakfast is served in the restaurant followed by a day at leisure in our resort. Lunches available to order from the bar with Afternoon Bingo in the Captain’s Lounge. Tonight, dress to impress and meet the Captain in the ballroom for a drinks reception before dinner then enjoy live musical entertainment with Broadway hits & party favourites.
Day 3 WEDNESDAY After breakfast, we visit Whippingham Church, with its connections to Queen Victoria followed by Osborne House, where we can take an intimate glimpse into the private life of the Victorian royal family. Tonight our ‘port of call’ will be India and our cabaret entertainment will include Bollywood dancers.
Day 4 THURSDAY Enjoy a full day scenic island tour. We start by visiting the coastal resort of Yarmouth before passing beautiful Freshwater Bay, following the old coastal ‘Military Road’ towards the south of the island returning via Ventnor and Shanklin. Tonight, we are ‘Back to Blighty’ with the best of British songs in the ballroom.
Day 5 FRIDAY We catch the ferry back to the mainland and then we are homeward bound.
Gloriously situated directly overlooking the sea and golden sandy beach. The hotel has a split-level restaurant with panoramic views over the bay, bar, lounge, regular entertainment in the ballroom and four lanes for short mat bowls. Bedrooms have TV, telephone, Wi-Fi and hospitality tray and all twin and double rooms have sea views. A lift serves all floors.
