Day 1 MONDAY Depart from your home area and travel to Kent arriving at the Bridgewood Manor in the afternoon. 4 nights stay - dinner, bed and breakfast. Tea/Coffee and biscuits on arrival.
Day 2 TUESDAY This morning we drive into Maidstone where you have time to explore the town and obtain lunch before our afternoon visit to Royal Tunbridge Wells. The town lies in the heart of the beautiful High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Browse among the chic independent shops of the colonnaded Pantiles and the High Street, with its buzzy cafes’ bars and one-of-a-kind shops.
Day 3 WEDNESDAY This morning, we visit the town of Rochester with its magnificent cathedral and historic castle. Take a stroll along High Street and explore the old town and cobbled streets. We have a chance to obtain lunch here before our afternoon visit to Leeds Castle where we are transported through around 900 years of the castle’s history – in a sumptuous mix of period architecture, impressive interiors, and family treasures.
Day 4 THURSDAY This morning, we enjoy a scenic drive through the Kent Downs to the coastal town of Broadstairs. The town lies above a harbour with cliffs on either side. Next, we continue to Whitstable, a town of traditional charm and a strong arts culture and rich maritime history.
Day 5 FRIDAY After breakfast we travel homewards.
