Itinerary

Day 1 Monday: After a taxi pick up from your door, we travel to our hotel near Hungerford, arriving mid-afternoon. After dinner enjoy an evening show.

Day 2 Tuesday: This morning we visit Oxford, famous for its university and rich history. Take a visit to Christ Church and see the Great Hall that was used in Harry Potter. Explore the remains of a medieval castle at Oxford Castle Unlocked or perhaps visit the Ashmolean Museum or enjoy some retail therapy at Westgate shopping centre.

Day 3 Wednesday: A morning visit to the quintessential English village of Lacock. Little changed in 200 years, with streets lined with timber-framed houses and independent shops. You can also visit the Abbey, home to the photographer Fox Talbot (National Trust, admission extra).

Day 4 Thursday: A morning excursion to the pretty Roman town of Cirencester. We return to Littlecote in the afternoon for you to take full advantage of the many activities and facilities at your hotel.

Day 5 Friday: Departing after breakfast, we make a stop in Winchester, before travelling to meet our taxis arriving in the local area early evening.

Our four-star standard hotel near Hungerford is a superb Grade I listed 16th-century Tudor mansion in 40 acres of landscaped grounds. Hosting Tudor monarchs, civil war captains and Regency nobles, it was here that Henry VIII courted Jane Seymour. Relax in the Great Hall, Cromwellian Chapel, Library or the Chinese Drawing Room and dine in the Market Kitchen Restaurant. There is also Wi-Fi, an indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and fitness centre. Our rooms have TV, telephone, ironing facilities, hairdryer and hospitality tray. The hotel has a lift to some rooms.
