Spend Easter weekend in the elegant resort of Torquay in the heart of the English Riviera and enjoy an included heritage railway journey and a Dart river cruise.
Day 1 FRIDAY We make our way west, arriving at our hotel in Torquay during the afternoon for our three-night stay.
Day 2 SATURDAY Indulge in the freedom of a leisurely day in Torquay, an award-winning resort and the Jewel of the English Riviera. You'll find many year-round events and festivals, a myriad of attractions and an abundance of beautiful shops to explore. It's no wonder that Torquay is a popular destination and a quintessential British seaside resort.
Day 3 SUNDAY After breakfast we travel to Paignton, where we join the Dartmouth Steam Railway for a delightful and nostalgic ride along the coast and across to the scenic Dart Valley to Kingswear. Here, we take the ferry across the harbour to historic Dartmouth. We have time for lunch and to explore the town before we enjoy a 1-hour cruise along the beautiful River Dart. Afterwards we take the ferry to Kingswear and join the train for the ride back to Paignton.
Day 4 MONDAY We depart after breakfast and stop in Salisbury with time for lunch and shopping. We then continue our journey home.
