The Christmas Spectacular is an extravaganza of non-stop singing, dancing, music, humour and variety. It is a fast-moving celebration of the festive season featuring an eclectic mix of both seasonal and year-round favourites with famous and much-loved chart toppers being sung alongside traditional carols. With a cast of 120 this is the biggest Christmas show of its kind in Europe! Our tour is based at the popular Knights Hill Hotel - situated in the heart of the beautiful Norfolk countryside, on the outskirts of Kings Lynn and offers the perfect getaway retreat.
Day 1 MONDAY We travel to our hotel in Northern Norfolk via the pretty town of Ely.
Day 2 TUESDAY Thursford Spectacular! After a relaxed breakfast we travel to Thursford. We arrive with time to get lunch and visit the shops before the afternoon performance.
Day 3 WEDNESDAY After breakfast we make our way to Oxburgh Hall. Built in 1482 by the Bedingfeld family, this beautiful, moated manor house is surrounded by nearly 175 acres, containing gardens with seasonal interest, streams and woodland walks. We include a guided tour of the Hall followed by free time to explore the delightful gardens.
Day 4 THURSDAY We return home with a stop in Cambridge before returning to the local area and our taxis home.
Located just four miles from King's Lynn town centre, the hotel has evolved from a working farm into the stylish, character-filled accommodation you see today. It boasts 79 bedrooms, a number having patios leading into the walled garden, elegant restaurant, The ‘Farmers’ traditional country pub as well as a Health & Leisure club with indoor pool, sauna, gym & spa. There is no lift but ground floor rooms with easy access are available.
