The biggest quilting show in Europe, featuring workshops, talks, demos, Textile Galleries from world-renowned artists, one of the world’s largest quilt competitions, a huge range of quilt materials, 200+ brands to shop from, and so much more! Join your Woods Coach at one of the following local pick ups: Worthing Dome, Littlehampton Anchor Springs, Bognor Regis Coach Park or Chichester Bus Station.
Day 1 Thursday - Departing the local area early morning we make our way to Birmingham, stopping late morning for a break at Millets Farm Centre, Oxfordshire. We arrive at the NEC with time for you to explore the first day of the Festival before re-joining the coach around 5pm to check into the hotel and relax before dinner. (Festival ticket included)
Day 2 Friday - The day is free for you to go to the NEC for the Festival of Quilts. Entrance ticket included. There is a shuttle bus that will take you and return you to the hotel. (Festival ticket included) Spend the whole day at the Festival or you may wish to take the shuttle bus and visit Resorts World Shopping Outlet during your stay. Dinner tonight will be in the in the hotel restaurant.
Day 3 Saturday - After breakfast you are free to go to the NEC for the last day of the Festival of Quilts. Entrance ticket included. Our coach will take you to the NEC. Your driver will meet you at the NEC with the coach at 3pm sharp to begin your return journey. (Festival ticket included)
The four-star Hilton Metropole Hotel is centrally located a short distance from the NEC. It boasts an indoor swimming pool, spa bath, steam room and gym. All bedrooms have TV, telephone, ironing facilities, hairdryer, and hospitality tray. The hotel has WiFi and a lift.
