Itinerary

Day 1 SUNDAY We travel across into Wales making stops for refreshments before arriving in Caernarfon and our overnight hotel.

Day 2 MONDAY We travel to Holyhead for the early crossing to Dublin, having breakfast on board. Upon arrival in Ireland, we head south west to Adare, Ireland’s ‘prettiest village’, with its delightful, thatched cottages before arriving in Killarney for our 4-night stay.

Day 3 TUESDAY Join us for a guided tour of the stunning Dingle Peninsula. Travelling through ‘Ryan’s Daughter Country’, we will see the wild and beautiful natural scenery as we make our way to the fishing village of Dingle.

Day 4 WEDNESDAY We have a guided tour of the Iveragh Peninsula, or as it is better known, the spectacular Ring of Kerry. Discover the secrets of the Ring of Kerry, as our guided tour takes us via Killorglin; famed for its annual Puck Fair, to Glenbeigh, with its Bog Village (Entrance Included). We continue around the Iveragh Peninsula, ascending Peakeen Mountain, around Moll's Gap and Ladies View before finally descending back into Killarney, along the glittering shores of Lough Leane.

Day 5 THURSDAY A free day for you to explore the town of Killarney. You could take a lake cruise on board the ‘Lily of Killarney’, have a ride on a traditional jaunting cart, or visit Muckross House, one of Ireland’s foremost stately homes with folk and farm museums and beautiful gardens. (Entrances not included.)

Day 6 FRIDAY Departing Killarney, we travel to Cobh, where we visit the Queenstown Story. Here, we can retrace the steps of the 2 ½ million Irish people who emigrated from Ireland via Cobh on coffin ships, early steamers and finally on the great ocean liners. In fact, Cobh was the last port of call for the ill-fated Titanic. We continue to Wexford and our overnight hotel.

Day 7 SATURDAY A short drive takes us to Rosslare for the ferry to Pembroke. The drive home takes us through South Wales and over the Severn Bridge, making refreshment stops en route.
