Day 1 WEDNESDAY We make our way across Hampshire for the afternoon ferry from Portsmouth to Fishbourne. We then travel to our hotel in Sandown for tea and mince pies. This evening, dinner is followed by music and dancing.
Day 2 THURSDAY - CHRISTMAS EVE After breakfast enjoy a scenic morning drive to the picture-postcard village of Godshill which boasts some of the oldest architecture on the island (Packed Lunch from the Hotel is included). Late afternoon, tea and Christmas cake are served and this evening we sing Christmas carols in the lounge before a candlelit dinner and entertainment in the ballroom.
Day 3 FRIDAY CHRISTMAS DAY Happy Christmas! This morning try the puzzles and games in the lounge before enjoying some sparkling wine and carols. Your traditional Christmas Lunch is followed by the King’s Speech in the lounge, and then the Bumper Quiz of the Year! A light supper is followed by entertainment in the ballroom.
Day 4 SATURDAY BOXING DAY Breakfast, then enjoy a relaxing day at leisure. Weather permitting you could enjoy a leisurely cliff top stroll to Small Hope Beach to watch the annual Boxing Day swim. Afternoon tea is served in the hotel restaurant. Tonight’s evening, dinner is followed by dancing in the ballroom.
Day 5 SUNDAY We return to Fishbourne and our ferry to the mainland, where we make our way along the coast and home.
