On a Warner holiday, you will understand what it means to be spoilt for choice: excellent accommodation, delicious food, great things to do and fantastic entertainment each evening.
Day 1 MONDAY We make our way to Warwick with time to enjoy lunch and explore this historic town. We then continue to our hotel, with time to settle in before dinner, followed by this evening’s top-class entertainment.
Day 2 TUESDAY After breakfast, join us as we make the short journey to Stratford-upon-Avon. Home of the world’s most famous playwright, William Shakespeare, you may like to visit his childhood home or enjoy a gentle boat trip along the banks of the River Avon.
Day 3 WEDNESDAY This morning we visit Coughton Court, a Grade I listed Tudor mansion. Some of the things to see inside include collections of 16th and 17th century paintings and a collection of 17th-century tapestries. We return to Studley Castle in the afternoon to enjoy all the facilities the hotel has to offer.
Day 4 THURSDAY This morning we visit Avoncroft Museum. The museum houses over 30 historic buildings rescued from demolition including a medieval town house, tollhouse and 1940’s prefab. The museum also houses the National Collection of Telephone Kiosks and a unique collection of fully working telephone boxes. Morning coffee and Danish pastry on arrival, and then we have a guided tour of the museum. Later, we continue to Hanbury Hall, a country house dating from 1701 with restored period details and an orchard and set in gardens and parkland.
Day 5 FRIDAY We depart Studley Castle after a leisurely breakfast and return home with a lunch stop on route, arriving back late afternoon.
Studley Castle Hotel is one of Warner’s newest properties, located within a beautiful castle boasting modern facilities in rural Warwickshire. Enjoy a delicious evening meal in the Market Kitchen before the dancing and live entertainment each evening. Leisure facilities include an in-house cinema, indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Bedrooms are in various buildings and there is lift to some rooms.
