Famous world-wide as the birthplace of The Beatles, the city is rich in culture, and no visit to Liverpool would be complete without a cruise on the world-famous Mersey Ferry.
Day 1 MONDAY We depart and make our way to Liverpool arriving at Hard Day’s Night Hotel for our 4- night stay.
Day 2 TUESDAY This morning we are joined by our local guide for a fascinating tour of Liverpool, including places made famous by the Beatles, Titanic White Star Line headquarters, the Cathedrals and much more. In the afternoon we make our way to the Beatles Museum home to large collection of authentic Beatles Memorabilia.
Day 3 WEDNESDAY This morning we head for the Beatles Story Museum, as the journey is told of how four young lads from Liverpool were propelled to the dizzy heights of fame and fortune from their humble childhood beginnings. This afternoon is free to explore the city at leisure, maybe pay a visit and enjoy lunch at the famous Cavern Club, who have hosted many famous bands over the years (not included).
Day 4 THURSDAY After enjoying breakfast we head for Strawberry Fields a location that inspired much of John Lennon’s work with song “Strawberry Fields Forever” even being named after this location. Explore the exhibition and garden obtaining insights into what inspired one of the Beatles most famous songs before we return to Liverpool. Here we include a Mersey Ferries Cruise where we ride on the iconic ‘Mersey Ferry’ and are spellbound by the breathtaking views of Liverpool and the Wirral.
Day 5 FRIDAY After breakfast we leave and begin our journey home.
