We are pleased to return to the picturesque town of Tenby, with its colourful houses leading down to the pretty harbour, at the newly refurbished Imperial Hotel.
Day 1 We travel across England and cross the border into Wales, making suitable refreshment stops along the way. We arrive at our hotel late afternoon.
Day 2 We spend our day in the west in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, first visiting the historic town of Pembroke, dominated by its magnificent Norman Castle. We continue to the tiny city of St. Davids, where we visit the impressive cathedral. Our final stop is at Oriel Y Parc, the National Park Discovery Centre, which hosts numerous exhibitions, a gift shop and café.
Day 3 Enjoy a free day in Tenby. Alternatively, have a half day in Tenby before joining your driver in the afternoon for a journey across the bluestone Preseli Mountains and along the Teifi Valley to Cenarth. This charming conservation village is home to the National Wool Museum.
Day 4 Today we return to Pembroke to visit the Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre, in the Royal Dockyard Chapel, the museum celebrates the town’s maritime, military and cultural heritage. We return via Saundersfoot, where we have an included cream tea in beautiful surroundings.
Day 5 We say farewell to Wales and make our way home with a stop in Cardiff to get some refreshments, arriving back in the local area early evening.
In a stunning clifftop location, overlooking Carmarthen Bay and the Pembrokeshire coastline, our three-star-standard hotel is close to the centre of Tenby. The hotel has restaurant with bar and lounge area. Bedrooms have TV, WiFi, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel has a lift but has some steps throughout.
