Day 1 SUNDAY We travel to North Devon making suitable refreshment stops along the way.
Day 2 MONDAY This morning we visit Bideford for free time to explore. The afternoon is spent at RHS Garden Rosemoor, a hidden gem located in the beautiful Torridge Valley. More than twenty different garden zones in different planting styles will be full of summer colour – an enchanting and inspiring experience.
Day 3 TUESDAY We visit the picturesque resort of Lynmouth where you can explore the narrow streets or take the cliff railway to the twin town of Lynton. In the afternoon we visit Arlington Court, an unexpected treat on the edge of Exmoor. The regency house is set in an extensive estate and contains a huge variety of treasures. We also visit the Carriage Museum, home to a large collection of horse-drawn vehicles.
Day 4 WEDNESDAY After a leisurely breakfast and time to take a walk in Barnstaple, we travel up to the pretty harbour town of Ilfracombe where you can purchase lunch in one of the many pubs and cafés. In the afternoon we visit another Brend Hotel for a delicious cream tea.
Day 5 THURSDAY We set off for the Clarks Village complex in Street, featuring a diverse array of over 90 stores. Our return to the local area is expected in the late afternoon.
