Day 1 THURSDAY CHRISTMAS EVE We travel north-west reaching our hotel mid-afternoon. A welcoming tea/coffee awaits you on arrival, before settling into your room. Enjoy a drinks reception tonight before our 3- course evening dinner served in the main restaurant. After dinner a Festive Quiz will be held in the bar/lounge with prizes up for grabs.
Day 2 FRIDAY CHRISTMAS DAY Happy Christmas! A hearty breakfast will be served from 7.30 to 10:30am. Welcome glass of fizz followed by a 3-course traditional plated Christmas lunch. The afternoon is your own with the King’s Speech shown at 3.00pm with tea, coffee and Christmas cake in the Bar. Your evening meal is a relaxed buffet affair.
Day 3 SATURDAY BOXING DAY After breakfast we enjoy a scenic drive through the Cotswolds. We commence in the ‘Cotswolds capital’ Cirencester, before continuing via Bourton-on-the-Water to Stow-on-theWold. Farewell 3-course dinner is served in the restaurant followed by live musical entertainment.
Day 4 SUNDAY After breakfast, we drive to Bath where we are free to discover the delights of this elegant, historic Georgian town. Visit the iconic Royal Crescent, built in the 18th century and a much-visited landmark in Bath. Overlooking Royal Victoria Park, the sweeping crescent of Grade I listed houses is a popular location for dramas and films. Explore fascinating museums, inspiring art galleries, and scenic gardens within Bath’s compact city centre. It’s a destination that really does have something for everyone and is also ideal for exploring on foot.
Day 5 MONDAY Leaving our hotel after breakfast, we travel east with suitable refreshment stops, reaching the local area late afternoon.
Our hotel is set in 15 acres of landscaped grounds with stunning views over the surrounding countryside at the foot of the Cotswold Hills. Restaurant, Bar/Lounge, Spa facilities including swimming pool, Jacuzzi, gym and steam room. All bedrooms have TV, telephone, Wi-Fi, ironing facilities, fridge, safe, hairdryer and hospitality tray. The lift serves all floors.
