Our lovely Cornish hotel offers a warm welcome and a truly festive Christmas. Enjoy good food, good company, trips to Truro and Padstow and drives through the beautiful Cornish countryside.
Day 1 We travel through Hampshire, Dorset and Devon making suitable refreshment stops along the way. We arrive at our hotel in St Agnes late afternoon. This evening, we have a Sherry Reception and dinner is followed by musical entertainment.
Day 2 Christmas Eve - After a leisurely start, we make our way to Truro, Cornwall’s Cathedral city. Centre stage is the impressive gothic revival cathedral, and in its shadow a warren of back streets to explore. We have a scenic drive back to the hotel. This evening St Agnes Silver Band will be singing carols during dinner and the evening will continue with musical entertainment. Details of Midnight Services will be available at reception. Day 3 Christmas Day - Happy Christmas! Why not follow your breakfast with a stroll through St Agnes, but make sure you return to meet Santa before your traditional Christmas Lunch served in the restaurant. Watch the King’s Speech this afternoon or take a Christmas walk along the beach. This evening we have a buffet followed by entertainment.
Day 4 Boxing Day - After a leisurely breakfast, we travel north to Padstow, its narrow streets leading through pretty pastel houses to a picturesque harbour. We return to our hotel around mid-afternoon for a lovely cream tea. Tonight, we have a Farewell Dinner and more entertainment.
Day 5 Leaving our hotel after breakfast, we travel east with suitable refreshment stops, reaching the local area late afternoon.
This delightful and elegant hotel has been tastefully extended and is set in its own secluded gardens and woodland, only 100 yards from the main street of the unspoilt village of St Agnes. The hotel has WiFi, an ironing room and the bedrooms have TV, telephone, hairdryer and hospitality tray. There is no lift, but all rooms are on the ground or first floor and can be requested.
