This tour of Cornwall offers the perfect blend of cultural heritage and coastal delights, making it an unforgettable experience.
Day 1 We commence our holiday and travel west. We arrive at the hotel late afternoon.
Day 2 After breakfast, we venture to the charming fishing village of Padstow, renowned as the home of TV chef Rick Stein and adorned with picturesque shops and restaurants. In the afternoon, our journey takes us to Lanhydrock, a late 19th-century house exuding period charm, complemented by expansive gardens.
Day 3 We visit Truro, where the imposing cathedral and charming shops await our exploration. In the afternoon, we embark on a leisurely 2-hour cruise aboard the MV Princessa, through the rugged landscapes and picturesque waters of the Helford River, including a visit to the famed Frenchman's Creek.
Day 4 Today’s excursion is to the historic maritime City of Plymouth, steeped in naval history. We’ll have free time to maybe explore the Hoe, see the famous Mayflower steps, visit the town centre and purchase lunch.
Day 5 After breakfast, we head to the Eden Project. In the afternoon we’ll visit Mevagissey a charming coastal town with its maze of narrow streets around the pretty harbour.
Day 6 We visit Polperro, a picture book conservation village with narrow winding streets and cottages perched on steep slopes overlooking a tiny harbour. The rest of the day is free in Looe, a town split in two and joined by a bridge, with narrow streets, quaint shops, cafés and harbour front to explore.
Day 7 We’ll leave the hotel after breakfast and make our way home.
