Day 1 SUNDAY We travel to Cambridgeshire making suitable refreshment stops along the way, arriving at our hotel late afternoon.
Day 2 MONDAY Following breakfast, we journey to Bletchley Park, an enthralling heritage attraction where you will uncover the remarkable tales of the World War II Codebreakers.
Day 3 TUESDAY Today, we venture into the splendid city of Cambridge, embarking on a guided panoramic coach tour to acquaint ourselves with its rich history and cultural treasures. Subsequently, you can enjoy ample free time to immerse yourself in the enchanting ambiance of this renowned university city.
Day 4 WEDNESDAY After breakfast, we make our way to the Imperial War Museum Duxford, for an opportunity to see colossal aircraft and step into the shoes of the courageous individuals who once served here. Inside each hangar and exhibition, you will encounter iconic aircraft, historical artifacts, and unveil the countless personal stories woven into the tapestry of lives affected by conflict.
Day 5 THURSDAY After breakfast we travel home.
Our four-star hotel is surrounded by acres of greenery set beside a glimmering lake. There is a restaurant, bar and lounge.
