Itinerary

Day 1 FRIDAY Our journey takes us via the beautiful cathedral city of Salisbury. Here, we pause a while before continuing to our hotel for our four night stay.

Day 2 DAY 2 SATURDAY We make our way this morning to Tyntesfield House - a Georgian Gothic masterpiece that houses a collection of over 70,00 objects. We return to our hotel for a hot, three-course lunch before making the journey to Bridgwater for the evening carnival. There is live music and entertainment in the town before the procession starts at 6pm. The procession is followed by a simultaneous squibbing display (Dinner not included this evening). NB: Please wrap up warm!

Day 3 SUNDAY Our day starts with a 60-minute Bristol Packet Boat Trip – a great way to explore Bristol’s maritime and industrial engineering heritage. In the afternoon, we enjoy a guided tour of Aerospace Bristol, which offers a unique glimpse inside the industry. We get the chance to step aboard its star attraction, the iconic Concorde Alpha Foxtrot.

Day 4 MONDAY We spend today at leisure in Bath where you could visit the remains of one of the finest spas of the ancient world, the Roman Baths, stunning Bath Abbey, the Jane Austen Museum, or the Fashion Museum amongst other fine options (entrances not included).

Day 5 TUESDAY Departing our hotel we spend time at leisure in Wells. Why not visit the spectacular cathedral before returning home after lunch.
