Once again we have secured our place at the largest and arguably the best Christmas show in the country! In its 47th year, the Thursford Spectacular promises to be the biggest and best ever! It is set in the magical surroundings of mechanical organs and fairground carousels, with a cast of 120 professional singers, dancers and musicians – most of whom are straight out of the West End. The three-hour performance delivers an extravaganza of non-stop singing, dancing, music, humour and variety. It’s a fast-moving celebration of the festive season featuring an eclectic mix of both seasonal and year-round favourites, with famous and much-loved chart toppers being performed alongside traditional carols. Day 1 We travel to our hotel in the heart of Kings Lynn via the pretty town of Ely.
Day 2 Thursford Spectacular! After a leisurely breakfast we travel to Thursford. We arrive with time to get lunch and visit the shop before the afternoon show.
Day 3 After breakfast, we meet our local tour guide for a guided tour to some of the pretty places of Norfolk, including a stop for tea and cake. The afternoon is free in King's Lynn.
Day 4 We return home with a stop in Saffron Walden before returning to the local area and our taxis home.
Our four-star Georgian hotel overlooks the marketplace in the heart of King’s Lynn old town, and combines elegant charm with modern amenities.
