Visit the wonderful adult-only Warner’s venue of Littlecote House for a relaxing autumn break. Enjoy visits to Cirencester, Marlborough, and the autumn colours at Bowood House and on a horse-drawn cruise along the Kennet and Avon Canal. Please note: Warner properties are usually spread over a large area, so some walking may be required between bedroom and restaurant / leisure facilities. Upgrades to Signature Rooms may be available with an extra charge. Number of single or sole use rooms at the published supplement are very limited. Day 1 After a taxi pick up from your door, we travel up to our hotel near Hungerford arriving mid-afternoon. After dinner, an evening show.
Day 2 A morning excursion to the pretty Roman town of Cirencester. We return to Littlecote in the afternoon for you to take full advantage of the many activities and facilities at your hotel.
Day 3 A morning visit to Bowood House, filled with treasures and surrounded by gorgeous gardens and 2000 acres of ‘Capability’ Brown parkland. Spend the afternoon in Marlborough or at your hotel.
Day 4 We make our way to Kintbury to join our horse-drawn barge for a two-hour cruise along the Kennet & Avon Canal, renowned as one of the most beautiful waterways in southern England. The afternoon is free to enjoy the many activities at our hotel.
Day 5 Departing after breakfast, we make a stop in Winchester, before travelling to meet our taxis, arriving in the local area early evening.
Our four-star standard hotel near Hungerford is a superb Grade I listed 16th Century Tudor mansion in 40 acres of landscaped grounds. Hosting Tudor monarchs, civil war captains and Regency nobles, it was here that Henry VIII courted Jane Seymour. Relax in the Great Hall, Cromwellian Chapel, Library or the Chinese Drawing Room and dine in the Popham Restaurant. There is also WiFi, an indoor swimming pool, bubble pool, sauna, steam room and fitness centre. Our rooms have TV, telephone, ironing facilities, hairdryer and hospitality tray. The hotel has a lift to some rooms.
