Day 1 SUNDAY Our coach travels across country to Cheltenham, and from here we travel to our hotel in Great Malvern for our four-night stay.
Day 2 MONDAY Today we visit Croft Castle (NT), a magnificent country house that dates back to the 14th Century and showcases a unique blend of medieval and Jacobean styles. The exterior features a striking red sandstone façade, while the interior boasts an impressive collection of antique furniture, artwork, and tapestries. From here we continue to the charming town of Ludlow with its medieval castle, historic church and many antique shops.
Day 3 TUESDAY We travel to Hanbury Hall (NT) a country retreat in the heart of Worcestershire offering a glimpse into what life was like at the turn of the 18th Century.
Day 4 WEDNESDAY We drive via the historic town of Upton-on-Severn to the National Trust’s Croome Court. A former home of the Earls of Coventry with a 'Capability' Brown landscaped garden and parkland that has an ever-changing range of exhibitions and historic contents.
Day 5 THURSDAY Departing after breakfast we travel through the Cotswolds with a stop in Stow-on-the-Wold. In the afternoon, we continue homewards.
In the heart of the countryside at the foot of the Malvern Hills, Great Malvern is the perfect base for our tour. Our four-star hotel is located in the heart of town adjoining the fine Benedictine Priory and has spectacular views over the Vale of Evesham and the beautiful Malvern Hills.
