Day 1 SATURDAY We travel to Dover for the short sea crossing to Calais. From here we drive down to Paris making suitable refreshment stops along the way. Dinner this evening is followed by a cabaret show on board.
Day 2 SUNDAY This morning we have a panoramic guided tour of this enchanting capital. We will see many iconic sights including the Bastille, Latin Quarter, the Louvre, Concorde, Champs Élysées and the Arc de Triomphe with some short stops for photographs. After lunch on board, the afternoon is free for your own exploration. This evening there is dinner and dancing and, depending on the water level of the river, we may sail through La Défense neighbourhood before returning to our quay.
Day 3 MONDAY After breakfast we depart for a guided visit of Montmartre, with its superb views over the city and the beautiful Basilica of Sacré-Coeur. We return for lunch on board and a free afternoon. Tonight, we have a Gala Dinner on board with a cruise through Paris by night**.
Day 4 TUESDAY Disembarking after breakfast, we make our way back to Calais for our afternoon crossing to Dover. We will then return to the local area and home.
The MS Seine Princess is a great standard ship, with 67 cabins spread over two decks. All cabins offer TV, safe and hairdryer. Located on the upper deck, the restaurant offers a superb French cuisine (set menu) in a refined setting, where large windows allow you to take full advantage of the panorama. Also situated on the upper deck is the lounge / bar with a dance floor. There is no lift and main deck cabins are accessed downstairs.
