Day 1 SUNDAY We make our way north, with suitable refreshment stops along the way and arrive at our hotel – the glorious Grosvenor Pulford Hotel, near Chester for dinner and our 4-night stay.
Day 2 MONDAY A memorable day out today as we head to Chester. Enjoy a sightseeing cruise with commentary on the River Dee followed by free time to explore at leisure. Sites you may want to visit include the 1000-year-old cathedral, Roman Amphitheatre and the 700-year-old Rows galleries shopping street.
Day 3 TUESDAY After breakfast relax before our late morning departure for the superb Arley Hall & Gardens. This beautiful Victorian country home is surrounded by beautiful countryside and has some of the finest gardens in the country. We have included entrance to the Hall with a tour and plenty of time to explore the extensive gardens. Arley was recently used in the hugely popular BBC show Peaky Blinders as the country home of the Shelby family.
Day 4 WEDNESDAY Spend the day in Liverpool, a city bursting with culture and character. Explore the historic waterfront, home to the iconic Royal Albert Dock, or dive into the city’s musical legacy with a visit to The Beatles Story (Not included). With world-class museums, vibrant shopping streets, and a welcoming atmosphere, Liverpool promises a memorable day full of discoveries.
Day 5 THURSDAY We bid farewell to Cheshire and travel home.
