After a comfort stop on the outward journey at Cobham Services, we arrive in London’s museum quarter around lunchtime.
You have free time to visit the Natural History Museum and/or the Science Museum, and maybe even the Victoria & Albert Museum just up the road. All three voted in the top 10 museums in London with exhibits appealing to all ages. There are restaurants/cafes at the museums and plenty of facilities in the surrounding area.
