Stonehenge is the best-known prehistoric monument in Europe and one of the Wonders of the World. Enjoy a free audioguide which you can download in advance or on the day that will guide you as you wander around the famous stone circle. Stroll around the Neolithic houses outside the centre, visit the Stonehenge Exhibition and spend time in the Visitor Centre. There will be a free shuttle bus to the ancient stone circle that you can use during the visit. In the afternoon you will have some free time exploring the historic city of Salisbury, where you can enjoy lunch or shop for some retail therapy.
