Set in the heart of an historic landscape, Bodiam Castle is the archetypal 14th - century moated castle, with spiral staircases, battlements and a portcullis. It’s one of Britain's most picturesque and romantic ancient monuments.
After our morning visit to the castle, we head to Bodiam Station to board the Kent & East Sussex Railway for a wonderful steam train journey through the beautiful countryside, while enjoying an included Ploughman’s lunch served on board.
