This exceptional tour immerses you in the diverse culinary delights and artisan craftsmanship found throughout Yorkshire, with an expert local guide.
Day 1 We travel north making suitable refreshment stops along the way, arriving at our hotel late afternoon.
Day 2 Today we travel to Leyburn, where we explore Ceramic Inspirations, and the wonderful Chocolate Shop. We continue our adventure to Hawes, where we partake in the Cheese Experience at Wensleydale Creamery. We then head through the National Park and past the Ribblehead Viaduct, Skipton and Blubberhouses, to return to our hotel.
Day 3 A free morning in charming Harrogate. In the afternoon, we visit Ripon where we'll see the grandeur of its magnificent cathedral. A lunch break here precedes our trip to Masham, where we have a tour and tasting at the esteemed Black Sheep Brewery, celebrated for its award-winning brews.
Day 4 Our morning starts in Kilburn at the Mousey Thompson Visitor Centre, celebrating the famed woodworker's mouse carvings. We then travel through scenic landscapes, passing Byland Abbey and Ampleforth, before arriving in Helmsley for lunch. In the afternoon, we explore 'The World of James Herriot' in Thirsk, where props from the TV series come to life.
Day 5 After breakfast we travel home.
