Heythrop Park

Warner’s Heythrop Park

Heythrop Park has been a feature in the Cotswolds since 1710 and is the latest addition to the Warner Leisure Hotels collection. More than 300 years later, it’s still immensely popular for the huge variety of activities and entertainment offered in its ‘just for adults’ hotel. We also visit Stratford-upon-Avon, Woodstock, Marlborough and discover the history of Evesham at its wonderful Almonry Heritage Centre. Please note: Warner properties are usually spread over a large area, so some walking may be required between bedroom and restaurant / leisure facilities. Number of single or sole use rooms at the published supplement are very limited. Entertainment / Leisure facilities provided are subject to change without prior notice. Warner may charge a higher price for rooms requested above our allocation. Tea/Coffee after dinner is not included. Warner no longer offer porterage as standard. Warner no longer accept cash payments.

Itinerary

Day 1 After a taxi pick up from your home, we make our way north into Oxfordshire, making suitable stops along the way and arriving at our hotel late afternoon.

Day 2 A morning visit to Stratford-upon-Avon, home to Shakespeare and a delightful medieval town to explore. Stroll along the river, visit one of Shakespeare’s attractions or just relax in one of the many teashops. We return to our hotel early afternoon to take part in the many activities or enjoy the facilities on offer.

Day 3 This morning we visit Woodstock, a hidden gem on the eastern edge of the Cotswolds. Explore the town’s fine architecture, visit one of the local museums or take a stroll to enjoy the wonderful view across to Blenheim Palace. The afternoon is free at Heythrop Park.

Day 4 A morning excursion to Evesham and the 14th-century Almonry Heritage Centre and garden, an eclectic museum showing how Evesham has grown over time. Spend the afternoon in the market town of Chipping Norton, or at our hotel.

Day 5 Leaving our hotel after breakfast, we have a stop in Marlborough before continuing our journey home.
