Day 1 After a taxi pick up from your home, we travel via some of the pretty towns of the Cotswolds to Stourport-Upon-Severn and our hotel.

Day 2 We travel to Shrewsbury and enjoy a 45-minute cruise on the River Severn, with commentary and refreshments. After some free time to explore the town, we meet at the Loopy Shrew Restaurant for a fish & chip lunch. We then visit Wightwick Manor and Gardens (NT), a remarkable house built in the Victorian era with nostalgia for medieval England with timber beams and barley-twist chimneys.

Day 3 Two National Trust treasures today starting with Baddesley Clinton (NT), one of the finest moated manor houses in England with over 500 years of fascinating history, nestled in excellent period gardens. In the afternoon we visit Packwood House (NT). Originally 16th-century, it houses a wonderful collection of period furniture, textiles and tapestries.

Day 4 This morning we visit Berrington Hall (NT), an elegant neo-classical house designed by Henry Holland and set in ‘Capability’ Brown’s final landscape design. Our afternoon is spent in Leominster, an historic market town of medieval black and white buildings.

Day 5 We travel south with a stop in Cheltenham, before continuing to home, meeting our taxis late afternoon.
