Once again we have secured our place at the largest and arguably the best Christmas show in the country! In its 47th year, the Thursford Spectacular promises to be the biggest and best ever! It is set in the magical surroundings of mechanical organs and fairground carousels, with a cast of 120 professional singers, dancers and musicians – most of whom are straight out of the West End. The three-hour performance delivers an extravaganza of non-stop singing, dancing, music, humour and variety. It’s a fast-moving celebration of the festive season featuring an eclectic mix of both seasonal and year-round favourites, with famous and much-loved chart toppers being performed alongside traditional carols. Day 1 We travel to the outskirts of King's Lynn via the beautiful town of Ely.
Day 2 Thursford Spectacular! After a leisurely breakfast we travel to Thursford. We arrive with time to get lunch and visit the shop before the afternoon show.
Day 3 We visit Norwich to join our local guide for a tour of this interesting city. We have included entry into the magnificent Romanesque cathedral.
Day 4 We return home via Saffron Walden before returning to the local area and our taxis home.
Our four-star hotel is a restored complex in 11 acres of parkland and garden, close to King's Lynn. There is an indoor pool, steam room, sauna and The Farmer's Arms, famous for its real ale, is close by. All bedrooms have TV, telephone, WiFi, hairdryer and hospitality tray. The hotel does not have a lift, but ground floor rooms are available.
