Day 1 We pick you up by taxi from your home and then travel by coach to St Albans where we have a break for lunch and sightseeing. We continue to our hotel in Letchworth, arriving to tea and biscuits and time to relax before dinner.

Day 2 This morning we journey through the beautiful landscapes of Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire including the chocolate box villages of Old Warden and Ickwell. After a stop in St Neots, we visit Cambridge for a chauffeured punt through the backwaters of the university city. Enjoy strawberries and cream as you glide along the water, then the rest of the day is free for your own exploration.

Day 3 We begin with a drive to Newmarket to visit the remarkable National Horse Racing Museum to learn all about the ‘Sport of Kings’. After a little free time in the town, we continue to the historic city of Ely, where we have time to have lunch and to admire the splendid array of medieval buildings and narrow streets. Ely’s main attraction is the magnificent cathedral, known as the ‘Ship of the Fens’.

Day 4 We depart after breakfast and make our way to Bletchley Park, once Britain’s best kept secret. It is now a heritage site where we can explore some of the iconic WWII codebreaking huts, see the Enigma Machines and a wartime mini-cinema, all housed in the ornate Victorian mansion which was Intelligence HQ during the war. Early afternoon we travel homewards, joining our taxis early evening.
