Join us for a wonderful Christmas in Shropshire. During your stay visit Ironbridge, see a panto and visit the National Memorial Arboretum.
Day 1 Following a morning collection from your home, we join our Woods coach. We make a stop at The Valley Country Park on the way and arrive at our hotel late afternoon to be greeted with tea and mince pies. Our three-course dinner is followed by bingo.
Day 2 Christmas Eve - After a leisurely breakfast, we make our way to The National Memorial Arboretum, where we have time to see the wonderful memorials and to enjoy an included lunch. We have a short stop at Ironbridge on our return. After dinner, for those who choose to attend Midnight Services, there will be mulled wine, tea, coffee and mince pies on your return. (Transport not included.)
Day 3 Christmas Day - Happy Christmas! Relax over breakfast and have a peaceful morning before your traditional three-course Christmas Luncheon, beginning with a lovely glass of fizz. Christmas cake, tea and coffee will be served with the King’s Speech, and tonight’s Christmas buffet is followed by a festive quiz.
Day 4 Boxing Day - This morning we have a leisurely morning to enjoy the hotel facilities or join your driver for a short visit to the Boxing Day sales in Telford, we return for a light lunch at our hotel. In the afternoon we enjoy the panto: Treasure Island at The Oakengates Theatre in Telford. Tonight’s dinner is followed by live musical entertainment.
Day 5 Leaving our hotel after breakfast, we travel via the Cotswolds to the local area where we meet our taxis.
This beautiful four-star hotel is set within 170 acres of Shropshire countryside and the restaurant enjoys fantastic views over Ironbridge Gorge. The hotel has an indoor pool, spa, sauna, gym and treatment rooms. All bedrooms have TV, telephone, WiFi, ironing facilities, hairdryer and hospitality tray. There is a lift to some rooms.
