Imagine a floating hotel on the beautiful River Seine close to the Eiffel Tower, wonderful cuisine and the courteous hospitality of the CroisiEurope crew. We enjoy a panoramic Paris tour by night in comfort as our ‘floating hotel’ cruises along the Seine*. We also visit the main sights by coach and have time in the artist’s quarter of Montmartre.
Day 1 After being picked up from your door, we travel to Dover for the short sea crossing to Calais. From here we drive down to Paris making suitable refreshment stops along the way. Dinner this evening is followed by a cabaret show on board.
Day 2 This morning we have a panoramic guided tour of this enchanting capital. We will see many iconic sights including the Bastille, Latin Quarter, the Louvre, Concorde, Champs Élysées and the Arc de Triomphe with some short stops for photographs. After lunch on board, the afternoon is free for your own exploration. This evening there is dinner and dancing and, depending on the water level of the river, we may sail through La Defense neighbourhood before returning to our quay.
Day 3 After breakfast we depart for a guided visit of Montmartre, with its superb views over the city and the beautiful Basilica of Sacré-Coeur. We return for lunch on board and a free afternoon. Tonight, we have a Gala Dinner on board with a cruise through Paris by night*.
Day 4 Disembarking after breakfast, we make our way back to Calais for our afternoon crossing to Dover. We will then return to the local area, our taxis and home.
The MS Botticelli has 75 cabins all of which have private facilities and shower, and are equipped with TV, safe, hairdryer and air-conditioning. There is a delightful panoramic lounge with a dance floor and bar, a comfortable restaurant (set menu), and sundeck. There is no lift, and main deck cabins are accessed down stairs.
