Hardangerfjord

Norwegian Fjords & Cities

Cruise with Woods and Fred Olsen out of Southampton into the spectacular fjords and enchanting cities of Norway. Gliding through the Hardangerfjord, Eidfjord and Lysefjord, you experience the dramatic splendour of cascading waterfalls and aweinspiring mountainscapes dotted with tiny farms and pretty villages. Combine this with the charm of Arendal, Kristiansand and the capital, Oslo, for a cruise never to be forgotten. Our first port of call is the welcoming city of Kristiansand, with its attractive old town with traditional wooden houses. Then to Oslo, to see the city, the amazing sculptures at Vigeland, or visit the famous Munch Museum. The 16th Century shipping town of Arendal is in a region renowned for its idyllic villages and striking coastline. We then travel into the heart of Norway, we see the dramatic Fureberg Waterfall before cruising into the breathtaking Hardangerfjord. From Eidfjord you can reach the Hardangervidda – Norway’s largest National Park, followed by a day marvelling at the spectacular Lysefjord.
