Staying at the popular Abbey Hotel in the heart of Great Malvern, we tour through the beautiful landscape of Herefordshire to explore some of the best-preserved ‘black and white’ villages and towns this area has to offer. We have included a light lunch and tasting at Westons Cider Mill, a tour of Worcester Cathedral and a cream tea at Browns on the banks of the River Severn.
Day 1 After collection from your home by taxi, our coach travels across country to Tewkesbury, renowned as having one of the ﬁnest Medieval black and white townscapes in the country. From here we travel the short distance to our hotel in Great Malvern.
Day 2 Enjoy a free morning in Great Malvern, before travelling to Westons Cider Mill, where we have a guided tour, tasting and a light lunch. This afternoon we have free time in Hereford, with its magniﬁcent cathedral, before returning to our hotel.
Day 3 Today we explore some of Herefordshire’s gorgeous ‘black and white’ villages. Our route takes in a rich landscape of orchards, hopyards, delightful cottages, inns, shops and timber-framed hamlets including Dilwyn, Weobley, Eardisley, Pembridge and Eardisland. We have free time in Leominster before returning to Malvern.
Day 4 We head for the city of Worcester where we have time to explore and a one-hour guided tour of the wonderful cathedral. We also enjoy a cream tea at Browns at the Quay, before returning to our hotel.
Day 5 Departing after breakfast we travel through the Cotswolds with a stop in Stow-on-the-Wold. In the afternoon, we continue to the local area with refreshment stops along the way.
