The Tynedale Hotel offered the original land-based ‘cruise’, and it is still the best! You will be issued with your “passport” on arrival and throughout your stay you will “visit” different countries with specially themed dinners and entertainment!
Day 1 After a morning taxi pick up, we travel northwards and into Wales, arriving at our hotel in Llandudno late afternoon, and embark on our cruise in Paris.
Day 2 On this free morning we have included a ticket for the hop on/hop off bus so that you can explore Llandudno, Conwy and the surrounding area at your leisure. Later, we return “on board” and spend the evening in Acapulco – visit the casino, enjoy the Mexican themed dinner & entertainment, before we set sail for our next port of call – Honolulu!
Day 3 Our excursion today is to the Isle of Anglesey, across the Menai Strait, where we visit Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch and Beaumaris. We return to our hotel mid-afternoon to prepare for our Hawaiian Beach Party, themed dinner and entertainment. We depart sunny Hawaii and sail to our final destination – The City of Canals and Gondolas – Venice.
Day 4 Today we make our way through the Snowdonia National Park to Beddgelert, where we board the narrow-gauge railway for a dramatically scenic ride over the mountains to the harbourside at Caernarfon. We have some free time to explore Caernarfon before we return to the “MV Tynedale” for our final evening. Dress to impress at the Captain’s Venetian Masquerade Cocktail Party, enjoy an Italian themed dinner followed by cabaret entertainment.
Day 5 Leaving our hotel after breakfast, we make our way southward with suitable stops along the way, reaching our taxis early evening.
Our four-star hotel is centrally located on Llandudno’s iconic Victorian promenade, just 20 metres from the beach and a short walk from the High Street and the pier. Each bedroom in this Victorian building is unique and has TV, telephone, WiFi, hairdryer and hospitality tray. There is a lift to most rooms, and entertainment every evening.
