Itinerary

Day 1 A taxi picks you up from home to take you to your tour coach, which then heads north toward Lincolnshire. We are greeted at our hotel with tea and mince pies. There is a welcome drinks reception before dinner and carol singers to get you in the Christmas spirit, join the hotel staff after dinner for a game of bingo.

Day 2 Christmas Eve. We travel into Lincoln for a chance to browse the shops and enjoy the Christmas atmosphere. The city’s history spans 2000 years with Roman remains, a Norman Castle, hundreds of historic buildings and the second largest Gothic church in the country. Have some lunch in one of the many teashops, pubs and restaurants before returning to our hotel mid-afternoon. We have tea and Grantham Gingerbread Biscuits before getting ready for our Christmas Eve Dinner and live entertainment, a warming glass of mulled wine and mince pies will be served during the entertainment. Details of local churches will be available for those who choose to attend midnight services. (Transport not included.)

Day 3 Christmas Day. Happy Christmas! A relaxing morning is followed by a traditional Christmas Lunch with all the trimmings. In the afternoon you can watch the Queen’s Speech and partake in some tea and Christmas cake. This evening enjoy a buffet dinner followed by a festive quiz.

Day 4 Boxing Day. Have a relaxing morning and take advantage of the leisure facilities before we have an early light lunch at our hotel. We then depart for Newark for the matinee pantomime of Snow White at the Palace Theatre. After dinner, we have one final night of entertainment.
