Norfolk is a county full of history and beautiful scenery, and during our spring tour we visit some of the coastal villages with a guide, spend time in King’s Lynn, enjoy a two-course lunch in Swaffham and watch a display of glassmaking!
Day 1 After our door to door pick up, we travel by coach to Saffron Walden, and have some free time to explore this pretty town. We continue to King’s Lynn and our elegant hotel.
Day 2 A lovely day today, we meet our guide at the hotel and board our coach for a driven guided tour of the villages along the North Norfolk coast. We enjoy information on the places we visit, have time for a coffee stop and a lunch stop, before we return to our hotel mid-afternoon.
Day 3 Today we spend our day in King’s Lynn, where we begin our day with a visit to the “Stories of Lynn” Museum, the rest of the day is free to explore the weekly market, stroll along the river or visit one of the many other attractions which tell of the town’s fascinating and often colourful past.
Day 4 After breakfast, we make our way to Langham Glass, where you will be able to enjoy a fascinating demonstration of glassmaking from the seated viewing area in the glasshouse, before time to explore the shop or visit the café. We depart and make our way to Swaffham where we have included a two-course lunch. There will be a short time for sightseeing before we make our way back to King’s Lynn and our hotel.
Day 5 Leaving after breakfast, we travel south, with suitable refreshment stops, before reaching the local area, and our taxis late afternoon.
