Our tour is centred near Kenilworth, in an area blessed with a rich history connected to Queen Elizabeth I and William Shakespeare.
Day 1 We travel to Kenilworth Castle and the gardens, once one of the country’s most formidable medieval fortresses, and later transformed into a spectacular palace by Robert Dudley to impress Elizabeth I. We continue to our hotel.
Day 2 Today we visit Charlecote Park. Family owned for over 700 years, the estate has connections to Queen Elizabeth I and Shakespeare. We visit Warwick in the afternoon, or you might like to go back to the hotel to enjoy the facilities.
Day 3 We explore Stratford-upon-Avon and Shakespeare's world, with an included visit to Shakespeare’s Schoolroom and Guildhall. Here, we follow in his footsteps, seeing where our greatest playwright was inspired by literature and theatre for the very first time, in an immersive and authentic experience that allows the atmosphere of this medieval building to engage visitors in its unique story.
Day 4 We spend our day strolling through the past as we visit the Black Country Living Museum. This remarkable site offers a glimpse into 200 years of history with over 50 authentic shops, houses, and workshops.
Day 5 After a leisurely breakfast, we make our way southwards, with suitable stops along the way, reaching the home area late afternoon.
