Itinerary

Day 1 We pick you up from your door, and then by coach we travel north reaching Charlecote Park, which overlooks the River Avon. Family owned for over 700 years, and with fine Victorian interiors, the estate has connections to Queen Elizabeth I and Shakespeare. We continue to our hotel where we have a welcome drink before dinner for a chance to meet your fellow guests.

Day 2 We explore Stratford-upon-Avon and Shakespeare’s world. During the day we visit Anne Hathaway’s Cottage and beautiful garden, Shakespeare’s Birthplace and Hall’s Croft.

Day 3 Today we visit Kenilworth Castle and Elizabethan Garden. Created by Robert Dudley to impress Elizabeth I, the gardens have been restored to former glory and you can explore them and the amazing ruins as well as visit the tearooms in the Tudor stables. We visit Warwick in the afternoon, or you might like to go back to the hotel to enjoy the facilities.

Day 4 We spend our day strolling through the past as we visit the Black Country Living Museum. This remarkable site offers a glimpse into 200 years of history with over 50 authentic shops, houses and workshops.

Day 5 After a leisurely breakfast, we visit the Guide Dogs National Breeding Centre for a fascinating free tour and a chance to meet some of these remarkable dogs. While the tour is free, the centre welcomes donations to support their work. We then continue homewards.
