Day 1 Following a morning collection from home, we join our Woods coach. Making suitable refreshment stops along the way, we arrive at our hotel late afternoon.
Day 2 We spend today in Shrewsbury, beginning with free time to explore and get some lunch. In the afternoon, we enjoy a 45-minute cruise on board Sabrina as she sails around the picturesque River Severn Loop, followed by a tour and cream tea at St Mary’s Church.
Day 3 We start our day at Blists Hill Victorian Town. Meet the Victorians and find out more about their way of life; enjoy lunch at one of the cafés or tuck into some traditional fish ‘n chips. Later in the afternoon, we board our coach for a short journey to Jackfield Tile Museum where we see magnificent tiles that decorated Victorian Britain. Final stop is a walk across the world-famous Iron Bridge and a peek into the charming Tollhouse.
Day 4 We travel along pretty Wenlock Edge, via Craven Arms to Ludlow, where you have free time to explore this pretty market town with its black & white timber-frame buildings. Mid-afternoon, we make our way back to our hotel with time to relax before dinner.
Day 5 Departing the hotel after breakfast, we head south east, with a stop at The Valley Country Park for lunch, and arriving in the local area late afternoon.
This beautiful four-star hotel is set within 170 acres of Shropshire countryside and the restaurant enjoys fantastic views over the Ironbridge Gorge.
