Itinerary

Day 1 After collection from your home by taxi, our coach travels across country to Cheltenham, and from here we travel the short distance to our hotel in Great Malvern for our four-night stay.

Day 2 We enjoy a free morning in Great Malvern and in the afternoon visit Brockhampton, a traditionally farmed estate and Medieval manor house. Exploring Brockhampton at this time of year provides visitors with a view of the estate at the most bountiful time. The orchards surrounding the manor house are laden with fruit, and the estate is home to a rich variety of wildlife, along with historic farming breeds such as Hereford cattle and Ryeland sheep.

Day 3 We drive into the autumn colours of the Malvern Hills and visit Ledbury with free time to explore this beautiful market town, with its many black and white timber-framed buildings, Medieval cobbled streets and fine parish church. In the afternoon we visit Much Marcle and Westons, where cider and perry has been lovingly produced for over 135 years. We have a one-hour walking tour of the cider mill, a tasting and a delicious cream tea.

Day 4 Today we drive close to the Welsh border and the wonderful little town of Hay-on-Wye. Here we have some free time to browse the many bookshops that line the streets. We then move onto Hereford, where you can stroll through the streets, shop or visit the cathedral – home to the famous Mappa Mundi and the world’s largest chained library.

Day 5 Departing after breakfast we travel through the Cotswolds with a stop in Stow-on-the-Wold. In the afternoon, we continue to the local area with refreshment stops along the way.
