During our wonderful summer tour to Great Yarmouth we visit pretty towns, Grade II listed Somerleyton Hall, explore the magnificent Bressingham Gardens & Steam Museum and take a cruise on the famous Broads.
Day 1 After enjoying our door to door service, we join the coach to drive north to Ely where we stop for refreshments, before continuing to our hotel in Great Yarmouth.
Day 2 A free day to discover the delights of Great Yarmouth.
Day 3 We begin the day with a visit to Wroxham and enjoy a cruise around the picturesque Norfolk Broads. This afternoon we head west into Norwich where you have free time to explore, visit the cathedral, cobbled Elm Hill or Norwich Castle Museum.
Day 4 We travel down the coast into Suffolk to the delightful resort of Southwold, little changed since Victorian times. This afternoon we head inland to Diss and visit Bressingham Gardens & Steam Museum. Explore the woodlands and countryside by magnificent steam train, on over four miles of narrow-gauge line.
Day 5 We begin with Oulton Broad and Lowestoft, with a chance to explore and obtain lunch. This afternoon visit magnificent Somerleyton Hall and Gardens; an early Victorian mansion with Jacobean origins set in a 400 acre wooded park with 12 acres of gorgeous gardens.
Day 6 Our first visit today is to North Walsham, where it is market day. After lunch we visit Cromer for a free afternoon by the sea.
Day 7 Leaving after breakfast, we have a lunch stop in Saffron Walden, before continuing homeward. We arrive in the local area late afternoon.
The family owned and run Palm Court Hotel stands in a quiet location on Great Yarmouth seafront overlooking the sea. Hotel facilities include heated indoor swimming pool and two bars. The bedrooms have TV, telephone, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel has WiFi and a lift.
