Day 1 After our taxi pick ups, we travel north stopping in the beautiful town of Stamford en route. We arrive at our hotel late afternoon. Enjoy a welcome drink before dinner for a chance to meet your fellow guests.

Day 2 We begin with a visit to Bolton Abbey, a delightful village made famous by its magnificent ruins, but also blessed with beautiful riverside and woodland walks, shops, tearooms and cafés. We then make our way to Skipton for a cruise on the Leeds Liverpool Canal followed by free time.

Day 3 A full day in Harrogate. The Gilbert & Sullivan Festival is in full swing, so make sure you visit the Utopia Pavilion for some free music at lunchtime. We then take our seats in the Grand Circle of the Royal Hall for the matinee performance of Iolanthe.

Day 4 This morning we visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Saltaire. Opened in 1853, this industrial village was built for the workers and is named for its founder, St Titus Salt, and the River Aire, which runs through it. We continue to Haworth with free time to explore the steep cobblestoned main street and to visit the Brontë Parsonage Museum. Our day is completed with a return journey on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway.
