Day 2 Our day in York begins with a guided walking tour of the historic centre and the afternoon is free for your own exploration. You might like to have a closer look at York Minster, or visit the National Railway Museum (free entrance), or discover our Viking heritage at the Jorvik Centre.
Day 3 A free morning to explore Harrogate. The Gilbert & Sullivan Festival is in full swing, so make sure you visit the Utopia Pavilion for some free music at lunchtime. We then take our seats in the Grand Circle of the Royal Hall for the matinee performance of The Mikado.

Day 5 Departing after breakfast, we head home via Lincolnshire and the Dartford Crossing making refreshment stops along the way. We arrive home early evening.
Our gorgeous three-star hotel stands in a quiet setting in the centre of Harrogate, and was once the hiding place of Agatha Christie during her disappearance in 1926. The hotel is traditionally and tastefully furnished and bedrooms have TV, telephone, ironing facilities, hairdryer and hospitality tray. The hotel has WiFi and a lift but there are some steps on the first and second floors.
