This tour offers some real delights for animal and nature lovers, as it includes fabulous birds from around the world, rare farm breeds, exotic wild animals, and visits some gorgeous honey-stone villages to enjoy the spring blossom.
Day 1 You are picked up from your door by taxi, then by coach we travel across country toward Swindon and our hotel.
Day 2 We visit the Valley Country Park to join our local guide for a Blossom Tour through some of the prettiest villages in and around the Vale of Evesham. We move on to Burford, a beautiful town on the River Windrush with time for lunch. Our afternoon is spent at the Cotswolds Wildlife Park. Set in 160 acres of beautiful parklands, it boasts a diverse collection of species including lions, giraffes, lemurs, rhinos and reindeer!
Day 3 This morning we have short visit to Malmesbury, almost encircled by the River Avon and filled with honey-stone houses, and home to the 7th century Abbey. We continue to the village of Lacock, a joy to explore, before finally reaching Avebury for a visit to Avebury Manor and Gardens.
Day 4 Today a visit to Adam’s Farm, The Cotswolds Farm Park as featured on TV, and home to rare breeds conservation. There is much to see and do before we make our way to the idyllic village of Bourton-on-the-Water where you can have some lunch. We then visit the Birdland Park & Gardens to discover the wonderful species of birds from all over the world as we take a scenic walk through 50 themed habitats.
Day 5 Departing after breakfast, we visit the pretty cathedral town of Winchester, before continuing to the local area to meet our taxis.
Our four-star hotel is set in 20 acres of beautiful Wiltshire countryside close to the village of Blunsdon St Andrew. The hotel has a restaurant, three bars, swimming pool, steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi and gym. Bedrooms are equipped with TV, telephone, WiFi, hairdryer and hospitality tray. The hotel has a lift.
