Itinerary

Day 1 Late morning a taxi will collect you from your home and take you to meet our Woods coach for the short journey to Southampton, where we join Black Watch to spend two nights on board enjoying the fine food and entertainment from Fred.Olsen.

Day 2 Whilst at sea enjoy a wide range of entertainment, live shows and cinema every night. Fine dining, a variety of bars and lounges feature across the ship. Relaxation and fitness facilities are available, including a spa, fitness centre, 2 swimming pools, 3 hot tubs and a sauna.

Day 3 Disembarking in Liverpool early morning, your Woods coach will be waiting for you, and we begin our day with a driven guided tour of this fascinating city. You will then have free time at Albert Dock to get some lunch or visit one of the many attractions. Mid-afternoon, we leave Liverpool and travel to our magnificent hotel - Crewe Hall, a former 17th century mansion.

Day 4 We travel to Anderton for a cruise including the famous boat lift, which was built in 1875 and provides a 50ft vertical link between the River Weaver and the Trent and Mersey Canal. We then make our way to Tatton Park, a grand country estate set in 1000 acres of historic deer park. The neo-classical mansion contains an impressive collection of fine art, books and furnishings. You can also get refreshments and explore the award-winning gardens and the estate’s own farm.

Day 5 We bid farewell to Cheshire and make our way homewards with suitable refreshment stops along the way, arriving in the local area early evening to meet the taxis to take you home.
