Itinerary

Day 1 Morning collection from your home to join our coach for the drive west. We arrive at our hotel in St Agnes late afternoon.

Day 2 A morning in the coastal town of St Ives with its cobbled streets winding between tiny fishermen’s cottages. A free afternoon in St Agnes.

Day 3 We spend the day in Lostwithiel at the wonderful Cornwall Spring Flower Show. Fabulous displays, gardeners’ question time, live music and plenty of local food on offer make for a fantastic day.

Day 4 Today we begin at Padstow, a delightful little port, nestling on the beautiful Camel Estuary, with a colourful harbour surrounded by pastelwashed Medieval houses. In the afternoon we visit Prideaux Place, surrounded by gardens and wooded grounds overlooking a deer park and the Camel Estuary to the moors beyond.

Day 5 A visit to the famous Lost Gardens of Heligan. In 1991 the gardens were rebuilt from complete dereliction and now cover 57 acres with a further 100 acres of ornamental woodland, an impressive range of plant breeds and features, including an Italian garden, a sub-tropical ‘jungle’ valley, a crystal grotto, summerhouses and the Flora Green Lawn surrounded by giant rhododendrons. The afternoon is free in St Agnes.

Day 6 Leaving our hotel after breakfast, we travel east with a stop at Dorchester before we reach the local area and our taxis to continue home.
