A wonderful way to start the new year with a gorgeous tour to Cornwall.
Day 1 We pick you up from your door before joining our tour coach to travel across country and into Cornwall, making suitable refreshment stops along the way. We are greeted at our hotel with a cream tea.
Day 2 We visit Truro, where centre stage is the impressive gothic revival cathedral, and in its shadow a warren of back streets to explore. We depart and travel to Charlestown where we have an included fish and chip lunch. After some free time, we make our way back to our hotel.
Day 3 We depart after breakfast to visit the marvellous Eden Project, a fantastic development where huge biomes house the largest ever rainforest in captivity with stunning plants, exhibitions and extraordinary gardens. On our return we have a stop at Polperro, a picture book conservation village with narrow, winding streets, and cottages perched on steep slopes overlooking a tiny harbour.
Day 4 After a leisurely breakfast, we have some free time this morning to explore Looe, a town split in two and joined by a bridge. Late morning, we take the Looe Valley Line for an 8 ½ mile journey to Liskeard, with beautiful views of the East Looe River and through picturesque valleys. After some free time for lunch, we have a scenic drive through Bodmin Moor with a stop at Jamaica Inn to explore the Smuggling Museum before returning to our hotel.
Day 5 Leaving our hotel after breakfast, we travel east with suitable refreshment stops, reaching the local area late afternoon.
Our award-winning, family-run three-star hotel is situated on the quayside in Looe, overlooking the picturesque harbour.
