An early visit to the beautiful seaside resort town of Bournemouth. We have a fascinating tour of the RNLI Training College in Poole, where our courageous volunteer lifesavers train for sea rescue. We also delve into Dorset with a local guide and have three included lunches and an evening drinks package to enjoy.
Day 1 Making our way through Hampshire and the New Forest, we have a stop in Lyndhurst where you will be able to get lunch. Keep your eyes open for the wild New Forest ponies as we continue to our hotel in Bournemouth.
Day 2 After a leisurely breakfast, we travel the short distance to Poole and have free time to explore Poole’s old town – a picturesque, bustling area featuring cobbled streets, historic buildings and a range of independent shops. We have a packed lunch with us from our hotel, and in the afternoon we visit the RNLI college. Here we enjoy a 90-minute Discovery Tour of the college and its training facilities, including the worldclass Sea Survival Centre, which hosts the wave tank and Lifeboat Simulator.
Day 3 A free day to enjoy Bournemouth, and an included buffet lunch at your hotel.
Day 4 After breakfast we begin our drive into Dorset and Hardy country. A local guide will join us for the day and give us some insight into the history of the area and some of the beautiful little villages. We will have a stop in Shaftesbury during our day and have a packed lunch prepared by our hotel.
Day 5 Departing mid-morning, we travel the short distance to Wimborne, before making our way back to the local area and meeting our taxis.
